Driven by the rapid development of AI, cloud computing and Big Data, liquid cooling technology has become the core route for high-density heat dissipation in data centers. As the industry scales up its deployments, unified design specifications are critical to guarantee system safety and energy efficiency.

Tianjin Galaxy Valve Co., Ltd, the manufacturing base of the GALA brand, has taken part as a principal drafting organization in developing the group standard T/CIEP 0227-2026 Code for Design of Full Liquid Cooling Systems for Data Centers, which was officially released recently. Leveraging standardized specifications, the enterprise delivers solid backing for the high-quality development of the industry.
Issued by China Council for Industrial Environmental Protection (CIEP), this standard specifies general requirements, technical specifications and test methods for liquid cooling systems and their auxiliary components in data centers. It fills existing gaps in the industry and lays a robust foundation for the large-scale deployment of liquid cooling solutions across data center facilities.

The development of the group standard is rooted in GALA’s long-standing expertise and complete industrial chain strengths in the field of valve control for data center liquid cooling. The company runs two vertically integrated manufacturing bases in Tianjin, China and Rayong, Thailand with complete full industrial chain layout, integrating R&D, casting, machining, coating, rubber vulcanization, assembly, warehousing and testing into a complete production ecosystem. Technical and R&D personnel account for over 20% of its total workforce. It operates sanitary cleanrooms certified to ISO Class 8 specifically for liquid cooling production, ensuring high cleanliness of valves at the source. To date, GALA has served more than 200 data center projects worldwide. Backed by its extensive practical experience, the company delivers full-process valve control solutions for liquid cooling to enable efficient and reliable operation of data centers.

Moving ahead, GALA will keep focusing on the liquid cooling valve control sector. In its dual capacity as a standard participant and intelligent manufacturing specialist, the company will facilitate the green transition and high-quality development of the data center industry.
